Bose:Dead/Alive is a 2017 historical period drama web-series by alt balaji. Directed by Pulkit, written by Reshu and created by Ekta Kapoor, it follows the life of Subhash Chandra Bose played by exceptional Rajkummar Rao and dwells into the mystery about his death.
First things first, this show is spectacular. Rajkummar Rao gives a stellar performance and Naveen who you may have seen in TVF's Pitcher's also does a fabulous job. The sets are grand and cinematography is just beautiful. The story is told in different timelines as it jumps from one year to another. The editing is crisp and the story is fast paced so it never makes you feel bored. It consists of total 9 episodes each 20 - 30 minutes long.
The entire cast has done a fabulous job and there hard work can be seen in the show. Each frame is beautifully made and the life of Bose through Rajkummar Rao's acting and Pulkit's direction makes it a thrilling show to watch. Patralekha is very talented but she does not have much to do here. However she gives her best whenever she is onscreen.
All in all, this show is spectacular and you should watch this show for it's amazing performances and it's beautiful cinematography. Very rarely we get to see these kinds of shows which are made in India and that's just another solid reason to watch this show if you haven't watched it yet.
